Last year, the Time to Write competition theme had an accompanying blurb. Does this year’s theme of ‘Light’ have any additional guidelines, or is it open to interpretation?

Last year, the Time to Write competition was launched to celebrate ISEB’s 120th anniversary, and the theme was centred on the idea of celebrating the past and looking to the future. This year, we have kept the theme – Light – open to interpretation to allow pupils to submit creative and varied stories. However, the judging criteria has been provided and this should help pupils understand what the judges will be looking forThe judging criteria can be found on the Time to Write website here: https://write.iseb.co.uk/#judging
